Mushroom Mayhem – (Featured on season 20 of Hot Ones) It’s time to make savory foods even savory-er with our Mushroom Mayhem. This blend of shitake and portabella mushrooms with habanero and scorpion peppers brings a big heat and even bigger taste to our collection. You can’t beat a steak sandwich or a batch of wings slathered in this sauce. It’s also nice and thick so you can be sure it won’t be running all over the place, mixing into things it shouldn’t be mixing into (though, we aren’t really sure what those things could possibly be…). We really are loving this sauce and know you will too! Tasting Notes: Umami flavor with a thick, almost steak sauce like twang, with a smoldering, manageable heat. Perfect For: Steak, Wings, Tofu

Delicious savory and earthy hot sauce. I believe it is the earthy umami profile of this hot sauce that sets it apart from the rest. Such a profile is harder to find in other hot sauces that in my experience can be fruitier, brighter, savory, or more smokey, but they all lack that earthy umami profile that is unique to this one hot sauce.
As a fun example, I had made a chileatole verde and this was the only hot sauce that enhanced the flavor profile.
