When it hits your tongue you first get this earthy peppery sweetness and for a millisecond you may think, “what’s all the hype about, I got this”…millisecond…then the ghost chillies hit you and the fire starts. Not kindling or one of those fire starter logs…no, a building fire. About a minute or so in you think your hitting equilibrium and the scorpion chillies hit you and you realize that the building was a fertilizer plant. About 10 minutes later the sweat that has engulfed your body finally goes cold. And you will reach for more! Great on tacos to liven up and add another dimension to weaker sauces.

Seriously amazing. I partially feel addicted to it, haha. My mother was at a flower show in Philly and grabbed this sauce for me. This is a serious sauce for serious heat love. I like the flavor, you can really taste the delicious peppers (unlike grocery store serious sauces). I appreciate this hot sauce and would recommend to a friend obsessed with serious sauces. Great for tacos, burgers, pizza, pirogies, fries, spaghet, every-ting. Great sauce, glad it came into my life.

I didn’t expect to like this sauce. What I expected was to have a bottle of “I dare you” to feed my unwitting friends. As it turns out, this is a damn fine hot sauce! I recommend everyone have some, then wait till the heat fades, then go back for round 2. It’s like a whole new layer of peppery goodness is added. Sweet, delicious, and a controlable heat with virtually no top end to how hot it can get.

My favorite hot sauce. I haven’t been without a bottle in my fridge since 2016. Love this stuff!
Also it’s great for pranks.

Delicious and hits just the right level of heat.

I’m not a fan of sauces that use extract, so this is my go-to for when i want that “knock my socks off” heat. It’s so much more than just heat though, the flavor with this one is unmatched it keeps me coming back again and again even if i often feel like Icarus. Rapture and Total Annihilation are my favorite sauces for Bloody Marry/Cesar. All of the Torchbearer sauces are worth the price, i was originally a bit skeptical spending upwards of $15 per 5oz bottle but they are worth every cent! However, Rapture and the other super hot choices here are especially worth it as a little truly goes a long way, one 5oz bottle of Rapture lasted me 2 months.

Taste tested this at the PA farm show this evening. I would say this has now became my favorite of the hot sauces now. I will definitely look for this at wegman’s the next time I go. The flavor is absolutely delicious if you can handle the heat when it kicks in. All in all you out did yourself with this sauce and can’t wait for your next invention.

Very good hot sauce. It was my first venture beyond the heat of habanero peppers. My eyes watered up good and proper after the first couple of bites of my taco. It was a bit hot for me at first and I debated on giving up on it until I finally got the actual sweet/spicy taste of the peppers in it. On hindsight I realize I put a bit too much on the taco but I’m glad I went back and finished the taco.
Great taste, not just heat.

As others have said, the key thing about this sauce is that it’s really delicious. It’s no mean feat to make something that is so intensely hot and is also something you actually want to add to your food. Don’t get me wrong, anything at 1M+ scovilles is not a daily-driver for me (Zombie Apocalypse ticks that box for me), but so many things that are this hot just ruin the taste of your meal. The Rapture will make you question the wisdom of your decisions in a glorious rollercoaster of joy and regret. Highly recommended.

I am working through my fourth bottle of this sauce, and it just keeps getting better. The heat doesn’t hit you upfront, but it comes on slowly and has a nice long burn. It’s a daily driver for me, and I put it on sandwiches, curries, and chili, among other things. The more I eat this sauce the more I discover the nuances in the flavoring. It is a bit on the sweet side for my taste, but the earthiness makes up for it. I tend to steer away from sauces that use extract, as I find they have a metallic taste so this sauce ticks all the right boxes. Recommended for heat lovers.

When it comes to super hot sauces, it’s usually a choice between flavour and heat. While it’s not the hottest sauce I’ve had, it’s by far the most delicious high heat sauce I’ve tasted.
